Studio Policy
PAYMENT
All customers must pay a non refundable 50% deposit upon booking to secure session time. This is to secure our schedule and ensure you and our staff have a scheduled session. Once deposit is received, we will mark the time and date as unavailable. We can send an invoice or payments through Zelle for the deposit. If you use a different payment method, feel free to ask.
If you prefer personal check, please notify us in advance. Any personal check returned for insufficient funds shall deem this agreement terminated immediately and shall be responsible for the payment and any fees or costs incurred. The artist is responsible for any and all legal costs and attorney’s fees, etc., required to collect payment for said check. No media / music files will be sent to the client until the studio is paid in full. The studio will retain ownership of all master recordings and will not release them to the Client until all amounts owed under the agreement are paid in full. No refunds.
BOOKING & CANCELLATION
An applied deposit of 50% shall be required to confirm all bookings. DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
If you reschedule 48 hours before your session, your deposit will be used towards your next session date/time.
Sessions begin from the time that was booked, not when the client shows up.
There are no refunds granted after session occurs.
FACILITY RULES
Use of Alcohol and Illegal Substances
No weapons or firearms allowed on the premises. No illegal substances are allowed on the property. Any behavior deemed unprofessional by the house engineer of artist, artist’s guests or crew while under the influence of any substance will result in immediate termination of this agreement. DLM Recording Studio reserves the right to refuse service or cancel a session if a client appears to be overly-intoxicated or heavily under the influence.
Food/Drinks
Food is permitted in the lobby area only. Drinks may be brought into the studio but must be kept away from the engineer’s desk & studio equipment. If a client spills beverages on equipment, the client must pay the damages.
Trash & Belongings
Please help us keep the studio clean and place all unwanted trash in the receptacles provided. The studio is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items that are left behind by a client. Any property left past 7 days will become property of DLM Recording Studio.
Equipment
In the event a piece of equipment owned by DLM Recording studio, or any part of its facility, becomes damaged by the Client or anyone in the Client’s party due to negligence, accident or willful act, the Client agrees to pay monetary compensation in the amount of full replacement value of the damaged item.
Release
The Client agrees to allow its name, photographic image, and/or musical samples to be used on the Studio’s website and/or for other promotional purposes. DLM Recording Studio will not sell or allow downloads of the client’s music without prior agreement. The studio will retain ownership of all master recordings and will not release them to the Client until all amounts owed for the session are paid in full
