  • David L. Martins

    Dave is an entrepreneur with over 10 years of audio engineering experience and a passion for helping artists achieve their creative vision. At age 14, he began writing, recording, and mixing music, which evolved into a professional career that led him to open DLM Recording Studio in 2012 in downtown New Brunswick, NJ. In addition, he founded Chamber 43, a nearby vinyl record, coffee, and culture shop, where he serves as lead record expert.

    Dave’s portfolio includes recording and editing for CNN’s The Story of Late Night by Cream Productions, as well as projects for Mark Wahlberg’s film Patriot’s Day, the Tribeca Film Festival feature Blame, and respected artists like Apathy, CRIMEAPPLE, Celph Titled, Goretex (LORD GOAT) of Non-Phixion, Safa, hrlum, RillyRil, Spit Gemz, A-F-R-O, Uhmeer, and Rebby Han.

    Inspired by the styles of influential artists like Kendrick Lamar, Big Thief, Death Grips, Nirvana, Elliott Smith, Jedi Mind Tricks, Roc Marciano, Mac Miller, Travis Scott, JPEGMafia, Aesop Rock, MF Doom, and Melvins and many more, Dave is driven to innovate and push creative boundaries. His dedication to quality and artistry is evident in every project, and he remains committed to building spaces where artists can thrive.

  • Samantha Kossoff

    Sam is the dedicated manager at DLM Recording Studio, bringing her expertise in audio engineering and artist relations to elevate the experience we provide. Based in Atlanta, GA, Sam’s lifelong passion for music inspired her formal training at the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences, where she honed her technical and creative audio skills.

    As our studio manager, Sam is key to maintaining a smooth, professional, and welcoming environment for every project. She has worked on projects with artists like Rico Nasty, Johnny Yukon, and Lil Skies, and supported sessions with industry icons like Monica, K. Michelle, and Jennifer Hudson. Her commitment to excellence and connection makes her an invaluable part of DLM Recording Studio, providing artists and clients with the trusted support they need to achieve their vision.

  • Andrew Milea

    Recording/Mixing Engineer & Instrumentalist

    Andrew is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and recording and mix engineer, who has been writing and recording music for 18 years. Since he learned to play the guitar at age 12, he has been experimenting with multitrack recording, and has self-produced music from his band Wild Americans, multiple singles, and the full-length album One-Dimensional Man. Additionally, Andrew has recorded music for and with other New Jersey musicians such as The Mysteries and Del, Big Beat Big Band, Uncle Dojo, and Lou Panico.  Some of Andrew’s favorite musicians are The Beatles, Parliament/Funkadelic, Tame Impala, The Meters, and Muscle Schoals.

  • Tyler "Tai"

    Recording/Mixing Engineer & Instrumentalist

    Tyler ‘tai.’ Herrick is a musician, producer and tracking/mixing engineer with a passion for all things audio. Starting guitar lessons at 10 years old, has garnered a wealth of knowledge that only a life lived can teach you. His experience includes tacking and mixing for well-known artists such as Ms. Lauryn Hill and Nas all the way to tracking, producing and mixing for local artists like Wishbone, Dana Hilliard and Niko Vieilleame. While his skill set is well rounded, his expertise lies in his ability to be a chameleon and be whatever an artist needs to create a world out of their music. His abilities in production and mixing ensure that every track is release-ready while also capturing an artists unique voice.

  • Ravi Ray

    Recording/Mixing Engineer & Instrumentalist

    Ravi is a first-generation Indian American sound engineer who brings a unique blend of technical skill and creative passion to DLM Recording Studio. Originally from Houston, Ravi’s love for music began at age 12, and though he studied petroleum engineering at Texas A&M, he ultimately followed his true calling in audio.

    After moving to NYC in 2022 and gaining experience as an assistant engineer at Manhattan Beach Recording, he joined DLM to help artists realize their full potential. Now based in Rahway, NJ, Ravi is dedicated to creating impactful soundscapes for creators of all levels.

  • Mikey Ilin

    Producer/Songwriter

    Mikey is a producer, singer/songwriter and musician specializing in helping others find their sound. Initially serving as an intern at DLM, he quickly caught the attention of others with his catchy earworm hooks and experimental production style. A student in his final semesters at Rutgers Mason Gross School of the Arts, Mikey is eager to take all he has learned from his music studies and contribute to the development of the next major talent in the industry. Mikey draws much of his inspiration from hip hop producers such as Jpegmafia, Madlib, The Alchemist and Kanye West, and is well versed in a variety of other genres as well.
